Understandably, The Federal Government, And The Some Sub National Governments Across The Country, Have Taken Different Initiatives, To Cushion The Impact Of The Policy, Which Ultimately Has Put More Nigerians Into The Poverty Net, Than Ever Before, Interestingly None Of The Interventions, As Announced By Government, Including Those Announced At The Sub National Levels Have Trickled Down To Impact The People In The Most Efficient Ways.

In The Week Just Passed, Government Has Again Announced A New Intervention Approach, This Time A 5BILLION Naira Palliative Intervention, Which Seeks To Disburse The Said Sums To States As FG’s Support To The States, In Ongoing Efforts To Alleviate The Sufferings Of Citizens.

While This Latest Attempt Is Commendable, The Question However, Is How Would These Funds Be Disbursed, In Such Away, That The Disbursements, Meet The Target Persons At The Grassroots, Who Are The Most Impoverished And Vulnerable In The Society.

It Is The Submission Of This Online News Platform, That, This Is Probably, Not The Best Of Times To Play Politics With The Lives Of Nigerians, Who Are Currently Breathing Almost With Their Last Oxygen, But A Time To Stand As Moral Leaders With Conscience, Who Would Ensure That, The 5BILLION NAIRA Palliative Intervention Funds Is Disbursed With The Required Conscience, That Will Enable Already Impoverished Nigerians Benefit From The Funds, As A Starting Point To Picking Up The Pieces That Is Remaining From Their Life.

Only When This Is Achieved, That Nigerians Can Begin To Relate With All The Interventions, Which Government, Is Currently Putting In Place Across Board, To Support The Disadvantaged In The Society.
