The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd has strongly denied allegations made in a viral video that its fuel is of poor quality.
In a statement issued by the Chief Corporate Communications Officer, NNPC Ltd Femi Soneye on Saturday ,The Company described the video as a “desperate attempt by economic saboteurs” to tarnish its reputation.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to providing high-quality fuel, carefully formulated to meet international standards.
NNPC Ltd emphasized that its fuel is sourced from reputable suppliers, including the Dangote Refinery, which adheres to strict industry standards.
NNPC Ltd warned that it will take firm legal action against individuals or groups spreading false information about its brand and operations.
The company urged the public to disregard the misleading video and rely on verified sources for accurate information.
