NNPC LTD Targets Sustained Production In New Refinery Overhaul Plan.

As part of move to boost Nigeria’s refining capacity, NNPC Ltd has announced plans to adopt new maintenance and compliance measures, as well as deploy cutting-edge technology solutions at its Warri and Kaduna refineries.
The company says it aims to ensure sustained production and enhance refining quality, setting a new standard in the industry.
According to the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd, Olufemi Soneye, the company is seeking a short and long-term Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services contract for the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company (WRPC) and Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (KRPC).
The scope of work for the O&M services contract encompasses various activities, including production planning, maintenance execution, quality control, and environmental management.
The tender process will involve a three-stage evaluation, ensuring transparency and competitiveness.
Soneye highlighted the key objectives of the O&M services, emphasizing steady and sustained refining production, adherence to best maintenance and regulatory compliance ethics, and cost minimization.
The O&M is expected to improve refining processes, guarantee quality, and apply latest technologies like Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) and Warehousing Management System (WMS).
