Chairman OTL africa downstream energy week advisory board adetunji oyebanji has officially unveiled the date for the commencement of the 2025 edition of the energy week.
At a press conference with energy editors in lagos friday, the advisory board chairman said the 2025 OTL africa downstream energy week will officially open on 26th of October, 2025 running through to 31st of October, 2025.
Organised in collaboration with the Nigerian midstream and downstream petroleum regulatory authority and other strategic partners, the OTL according to Oyebanji encompasses end-to-end operations and services in the midstream and downstream business, incorporating strategic conference, which allows for exhibition and networking opportunities.
Oyebanji during the media parley further noted that the OTL energy week has in the last 19 years set agenda for the downstream sector development not only in Nigeria, but acros the west africa sub region and at the wider continental level. “Yearly, stakeholders come in from far and near to rub minds, interact and deepen relationships that drive their business and the market as a whole”. “Policy and executive action equally rely on this event for crucial insights on which to anchor their engagements with the industry”
On the tension that currently defines the downstream sector with the coming of the dangote refinery, tunji oyebanji expressed confidence that with time the required balance and stability will be achieved in the overall interest of stakeholders, and the country as a whole.
The energy week which is expected to feature high-level engagement on regulatory panels involving five west african countries, will bring together more than sixty speakers from across ten strategic sections who would provide insights into market trends, innovations, opportunities and targets, under anchor themes which will focus on strategic investments, finance, technology and corporate realignment.

Focus areas at the energy week will include oil refining, petroleum products trading, shipping, tank storage amongst other critical areas of the downstream.
