The need to support Nigeria’s Drive towards fuel diversification strategy has been advocated in order to expand the use of liquefied natural gas in local communities across the country.
President women in energy network Eyono fatai-williams who made the remarks in Lagos said the call aims to add value to citizens energy need particularly in rural communities.
Eyono fatai-williams also noted that liquefied natural gas use will help push government’s energy policy which emphasises equitable energy access with the ultimate objective of ensuring that no Nigerian citizen is left behind in the transition to cleaner fuels
The women group said the event is part of ongoing initiative to deepen the advocacy to support government’s energy policies.
