In recognition of its commitment to operational excellence, quality service delivery, and sustainable business performance, the NNPC Gas & Power Investment Services (NGPIS) has been awarded the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification by the British Standards Institution (BSI).
NGPIS’ Head, Planning and Commercial, Ayuba Rabo, led a team from the company to present the ISO Certificate to the Executive Vice President, Gas Power and New Energy, Olalekan Ogunleye, in his office at the NNPC Towers, Abuja, on Wednesday.
The certification according to a release on a social media post by the NNPC follows an implementation journey that commenced in December 2024, spanning internal and external audits, process standardisation, and management system development by the QMS team led by the coordinator, Okeoghene Esugo, whose relentless drive, coordination, and commitment were instrumental in attaining the milestone.
By this certification, the post further revealed, NGPIS has now established itself as an internationally recognised entity with a quality management system that aligns with international best practices, positioning it for greater competitiveness, excellent service delivery, and customer satisfaction within the energy industry.
