The president disclosed that the starting point for reforms in Nigeria’s oil and gas in 2023 was hinged on the full implementation of the petroleum industry act aimed to strengthening regulatory institutions to ensure clarity of roles, transparency, and investor confidence.

President bola tinubu also noted that with ongoing reforms in the nation’s oil and gas space, the country currently stands at 1.6million barrels per day crude oil production with projected target of hitting 2.5million barrel per day by the year 2027.
“Nigeria’s refining landscape entered a new era with the commencement of full operation of the dangote petroleum refinery, significantly enhancing domestic supply of petroleum products” the president declared

President Mbasogo also noted that natural gas is and will continue to remain the transition fuel that guarantees development, industrialisation and social stability not just for equitorial guinea, but across the continent of Africa.
