Minister Of Power Commissions 100MVA Transformer At TCN Isolo Transmission Sub-Station In Lagos, Assures Nigerians Of Stable Electricity Supply In 2025.

Nigeria’s minister of power adebayo adelabu says government will continue to ensure stable electricity supply to Nigerians amidst growing attacks on critical power infrastructure across the country.

The minister who was speaking during the commissioning of a 100MVA power transformer at the isolo TCN sub station in lagos said government is working hard to ensure several vandalised power infrastructure across the country are repaired timely to avert prolonged electricity supply disruptions in the country.

The minister in his remarks further noted that power supply improved in the outgone year in 2024 despite occasional grid collapses.

In his speech at the commissioning of the 100MVA transformer, managing director transmission company of Nigeria TCN sule abdullaziz said the event signifies the priority of the current government under the leadership of president bola tinibu to significantly transform the nation’s power sector to global standard, abdullaziz also noted that the commissioning of the transformer would help boost power supply within lagos state.

The managing director of the transmission company of Nigeria noted that current upgrade of transmission lines will continue across the country as parts of government efforts to improve service delivery.

The Nigerian government according to adelabu will continue to priotise the well-being of citizens through improved, stable and affordable electricity in 2025, noting that ongoing upgrade of transmission lines nationwide is a testament.
