The Nigerian national petroleum company limited has temporarily shutdown the port harcourt refining company for a planned maintenance.
In a press statement released Saturday by the company and signed by olufemi soneye, chief corporate communications officer said the scheduled maintenance and sustainability assessment will commence Monday, 26th, May, and designed to ensure optimal performance for the refining company when the said maintenance is completed.
The management of the NNPC Ltd while reassuring its steadfastness in delivering sustainable energy security in the country, said the petroleum company is already working with critical stakeholders to ensure that the maintenance of the port harcourt refining company is done in the most efficient, and transparent manner.
